The Parish Primary School opened in 1931 as a two-form entry school with a roll of 145 pupils. Since then the number of pupils has more than.

Many alterations and additions to the buildings have been made over the years including a new Nursery Unit and extension that contains 9 classrooms, an ICT Suite and Library.

The school aims to provide an education, which takes place in a Christian caring community. In partnership with parents and parish the aim is to create a Christian atmosphere where the ethos and the teaching of the Catholic Faith permeates all aspects of school life. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum endeavouring to meet each pupil's individual needs. It has an active Parent Staff Forum.

Botwell House Parent Staff Forum (PSF)

The Parent Staff Forum is a consultative group that meets to consider initiatives and potential improvements to benefit the school.

The aims of the Forum are:

  • to encourage close co-operation between Parents and Staff to benefit all children at the school
  • to develop community links between home, school and parish
  • to promote the school within the community of Hayes
  • to raise funds to enhance the quality of education provided for the children in our care
  • to promote and develop the existing good relationships between parents and school staff in a social context
  • to communicate initiatives and discuss improvements to benefit the school
  • to provide feedback to all parents via a Forum Newssheet.

Who is eligible to join?

This Catholic Secondary School was opened in the 1960's to serve all the pupils from Catholic Primary Schools in the Borough of Hillingdon. It is grant-maintained and has recently expanded its facilities considerably by the addition of a new gymnasium and sports hall and 12 classrooms.

The school provides a first class comprehensive education and is successful in wide ranging fields of endeavour from sport to business studies to vocational training for life.
