Christmas Services

Reconciliation Service at 7.00pm.
Tuesday 18th December -
Botwell School Carol Concert at 7.00pm.
Monday 24th December -
Christmas Eve
Children’s Christmas Mass at 5.00pm
Children invited to come dressed as angels or shepherds to take an active part in the Mass.
 Carols at 11.30pm followed by Solemn Mass of the Nativity at Midnight.
Tuesday 25th December -
Christmas  Day
Masses will be at 8.30am, 10.00am and 12 noon only.
Wednesday 26th December -
St Stephen’s Day  - Bank Holiday
Mass at 10.00am only.
Monday 31st December -
New Year’s Eve
Masses at usual times plus
11.30pm to celebrate the New Year
Tuesday 1st January 2019
is a Bank Holiday
Mass at 10.00am only.

The Advent Reconciliation Service with confessions  is on Monday at 7 pm
Ushers are needed for the Christmas Masses to ensure that the celebrations are carried out in an orderly fashion.  If you can help at one of the Masses please come to a planning meeting on ?Wednesday, 19th at 8.00 pm in the church.
Christmas Trees & Flowers
The collection for the trees & flowers for Christmas taken last weekend realised £572.40.  Thank you for your support.
 Bidding Prayers
If you would like the name of a sick relative or friend or someone who has recently died or whose anniversary it is to be included in the reading of the Bidding Prayers during Mass then please write down the name on the sheet on the red clip-board on the table by the side entrance as you enter the church.
Friends of the Homeless
There will be a retiring collection this weekend by the Friends of the Homeless Group to help in their support of the needy in London.
St Andrew’s Day Disco
Many thanks to all those who supported the Polish Communities St Andrew’s Day Disco and for their donation of £2,182.00 which went towards the development of  the Claretian Pastoral Centre.
In Memoriam
There are three funerals taking place in the church this week:-
·  The funeral of Gasapr Vales RIP will take place on Wednesday 19th December.
·  The funeral of  Eileen Kelleher RIP will take place on Thursday 20th December.
·  The reception of the body of Lily Mears will be at 5.00pm on Thursday 20th December with Requiem Mass on Thursday 21st December.
All the funerals are at 12.15pm.
Eucharistic Ministers
A reminder for Eucharistic Ministers to sign-up for their availability for Christmas Day.  A few more are needed to complete the Christmas rota.    Thank you.
The SVP are distributing 11,500 Vinnie Packs containing cold weather essentials to the homeless and those spending the principal part of their day on the streets. Each pack contains  a thermal hat, two pairs of socks, gloves, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste,  information sheet and pen. Please could you consider sponsoring packs at a suggested donation of £3.50 per pack.
Donations can be sent to Vinnie Packs, PO Box 72264, London SW1P 9EZ with cheques made out to SVP. Thank you so much for your support.
In addition, the SVP would like to say a huge thank you  to the children and staff of Botwell School for their very generous donation to this cause from the money they raised during Maths week.
Botwell School
The school term ends on Friday 21st December at 1.00pm.  We wish all staff, pupils and their families a very happy and holy Christmas and a peaceful and joyful New Year.
The next Prayer Group meeting will be on  Monday, 7th January

Tea & Coffee

Tea & Coffee are served in the foyer of the Main Hall every Sunday from 9.00am to 12 noon. An opportunity to meet friends and catch-up on the weeks events.
