Our Lord Jesus Christ, Universal King

Love in Action
Now our seven week programme has ended we are inviting as many of you as possible to attend one of the workshops that we will be organising   as we seek to identify how we should be responding as a parish to the social needs challenging our community.  Needs that exist both among our members and in the wider community today.
Then in Advent we will arrange a parish day of reflection in which we will try to develop an active plan to try and improve how we put Catholic Social teaching into practice here in our parish.
Please try to ensure that at least one of your family attends one of the workshops as listed below:-
Saturday 2nd December—10.00am
Monday 4th December—9.30am
Monday 4th December—7.00pm
All workshops take place in the Upper Room of Botwell House.
Children’s Liturgy of The Word.
Note for parents: Children’s Liturgy  of the Word is a practice of children leaving the Sunday assembly during the Liturgy of the Word, to gather elsewhere to celebrate a separate Liturgy to enable them to take a more conscious and active part in liturgical celebrations. This takes place at the 12noon Mass.

The Goan community cordially invites the parishioners to celebrate this feast of our patron saint of Goa.  Konkani Mass at 4:00pm followed by a dinner and dance social in the Church Hall with a live band from 6:00 till midnight.
