Christmas Bazaar
  
The Parish Christmas Bazaar takes place on Saturday 18th November.  Draw tickets at 50p each are available from the Parish Office. 
1st Prize — £1000.00
2nd Prize— £500.00  
3rd Prize— £250.00 
If you can sell raffle tickets, please pick up a bundle from the office. Prizes for the top two sellers!!
 
Please sell as many as you can.
 
Additionally any bottles or gifts that you would be happy to donate could be handed in over the next few weeks for our stalls. These would be very gratefully received and could go a long way to making our Bazaar better than ever!!
 
Corrie’s Jams
In readiness for the forthcoming Christmas bazaar, Corrie Jackson is requesting clean jam jars which she can use in the production of her range of homemade jams.  If you can help, please leave them in the Parish Office.  Thank you.
 
In Memoriam
The funeral of Roger Fegrado RIP will take place on Monday 25th September at 1.30pm.  Please remember Roger and his family in your prayers
 
First Holy Communion Mass of Enrolment.
The Mass of Enrolment for this year’s FHC children will take place today Sunday 24th September at 8:30am.
We ask all parishioners to support our children and their families who are enrolled in the programme.
 
First Holy Communion Catechists’ meeting.
There will be a FHC catechists’ meeting on Tuesday 26th September at 7.00pm in the Community Centre. In this meeting we will introduce the new catechists and we will hand out this year’s FHC calendar and resources for the first session.
 
Youth Confirmation 2017-18
The First Youth Confirmation Group meeting is on Thursday 5th October at 6.30pm in the Parish Main Hall. All the candidates and their parents/carers are expected to attend this meeting.
During the meeting; this year’s calendar programme will be handed out; we will have time to discuss and share expectations on the confirmation programme; and, finally, will have time to discuss the practical matters for the two-overnight retreats to Buckden, Cambridgeshire (Friday 10th to Sunday 12th November)
  
MacMillan Coffee Morning
Botwell School and joining with the Parish to hold a combined coffee morning next Friday 29th September, 8.00am—4.00 pm in the foyer of the Main Hall to be part of the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ and raise money for the MacMillan Nurses. 
If you would like to help or donate cakes/biscuits, please leave your details in the Parish Office.
 
10th Hayes Scouts
There will be a Church Parade next Sunday 1st October at the 8.30am Mass.  All Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are requested to meet in the Scout Hut at 8.15am.    Thank you.
 
Legion of Mary
As October is the month of the Holy Rosary, the Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary on the Wednesday’s of October at 3.45pm (after school) in the Church.
We are inviting children and their families to join us for 15 minutes on the 4th, 11th and 18th to pray the Rosary in Honour of Our Lady.
 
Can you help?
We are looking for some volunteers to translate First Holy Communion Resources from English to Polish, English to Konkany and English to Tamil. If you can either help or know someone who can help, please contact Daniel Ortiz in the Parish Office.

HCPT Social Evening and Dance 
HCPT Group 128
will be raising money for their trip to Lourdes at Easter 2018 with a social evening and dance next
Saturday 30th September 2017
in 
St Edward's Parish Centre, Windsor from 7.30-10.30pm. 
 
Live music from
Dylan Mascarenhas.  
Tickets at £10.00 each which includes sandwiches and a
sharing platter.  Bring your own alcohol or soft drinks. 
Adults only.
 
Admission by ticket only.
Come along, enjoy a great evening and help your Parish Group to raise the money needed to take some special children  to Lourdes!
