Christmas Bazaar


The Parish Christmas Bazaar takes place on Saturday 24th November.  Draw tickets at 50p each (£5.00 per book of 10) are available from the Parish Office.
1st Prize — £1000.00
2nd Prize— £500.00  
3rd Prize— £250.00
Pleae pick up your draw tickets and
. . . . .sell as many as you can!
If you have any unwanted gifts at home would you like to donate them to the Christmas Bazaar?
Items can be left in the Parish Office during normal hours.
 These would be very gratefully received and could go a long way to making our Bazaar better than ever!!

St Francis Xavier’s Mass
The Goan community invite the parishioners of Hayes to celebrate the feast of the patron saint of GoaThere will be a Konkani Mass in our parish on Sunday 2nd December at 5.00pm sharp.
Youth Group - Year 7 and above.
The next meeting for children and parents will be on Friday 23rd November, 6.45–7.45pm in the Community Centre.
Bible Diaries
Bible Diaries for 2019 are available for purchase from the repository in the Parish Office priced at £3.00 &  £5.00  Buy early while stocks last.
Knights of St Columba
The Knights will be having their usual bottle stall at the Christmas Bazaar.  Any donations of bottles (wines, spirits etc.) will be greatly appreciated to help us support this popular annual event.   Thank you.
Friends of the Homeless
Soup  makers urgently needed to make up packet soup on a Friday, late afternoon - everything provided; collect items during the week and return made up by 6.45pm, so will need transport. Please ring Elaine on 07986 117145 for further information, it would only be 6/7 times a year.  Thank you.
Mary’s Meals
An e-mail from Mary’s Meals reads . .
I am delighted to say that the parish managed to give 1,150 kg of unwanted clothes making a total contribution of £609.50.  Please let the parish know how grateful Mary’s Meals is for its support – this is a very good result!  The amount raised will feed 43 children who will not only get fed one good, nutritious meal every school day for a whole year, but they will get an education too.     Gerrard McMahon
In Memoriam
The body of Jim Keating RIP will be received into the church on Tuesday 20th November at 5.00pm followed by a reception in the Foyer of the main hall.  Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 21st November at 12.15pm followed by a reception in the Community Centre.  Please remember Jim and his family in your prayers.
Parish Readers
New rotas are available for collection from the Sacristy.

There will be a retiring collection this  weekend by the Society of St Vincent de Paul.
