September sees changes in Hayes with the present Parish Priest, Fr Jim, leaving and Fr. Martin arriving.

Fr. Jim Kennedy cmf, who has lived and worked in the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on and off for many years, will be leaving to become Parish Priest of St Joseph's in Leyton.  Fr Jim, over the last 6 years, has served both as Assistant Priest and Parish Priest.  He will be missed!   We thank him for the many years of dedication and service he has given.

Fr. Martin Stone cmf will be assuming the responsibility of Parish Priest with Fr. Paul Joseph as assistant preist (a role Fr Paul has fulfilled for the last 3 years).  For the last 4 1/2 years Fr Martin has been living and working in the Parish of St Joseph's, Leyton, as well as ministering as Vocation Director for the Claretian Missionaries and editor of New Tidings.

We wish them all every blessing as they take up new ministries or resume old ones.

N.B. Fr. James Fischer, who is retired, will remain in residence and Fr. Philip Blandford, while living in residence, is not assigned to the Parish.
