Legion of Mary
May and October are the months of the Holy Rosary. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary on the Wednesday’s of May at 3.30pm (after school) in the Church.
We are inviting the children and their families to join us for 15 minutes on the 12th, 19th & 26th to pray the Rosary in Honour of Our Lady.
Society of St Vincent de Paul
There will be a retiring collection this weekend by the SVP to help the needy of the Parish and beyond. We are grateful to the Parish family for their continued support as in the present climate there are heavy demands on our resources.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue every Friday from 10.00am until 12.00 noon and again after the 12.15 Mass from 1.00 pm until 3.00pm. As we gather in silent prayer and meditation in the presence of our Risen Lord to thank him for all the blessings we have received through prayer.
It is also an opportunity to respond to the Catholic Bishop’s request for deep prayer of reparation and atonement and to pray for healing, forgiveness and a renewed dedication of our faith.
Holy Hour for Vocations
There will be a Holy Hour for Vocations on Monday 10th May commencing at 8.00pm. in the Church. Please come along and join in prayer for this vital need in the Church today.

Cyril & Ann Lee would like to thank the people of the parish for all the mass cards and messages of sympathy received on the death of Cyril’s mother. The love and support that we received from you all was greatly appreciated. A Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Ladies Night
‘Handbags & Heels’
Next Saturday 15th May, a ‘Ladies Only’ night will be held in the Parish Social Hall and all funds raised will go towards Breast Cancer. There will be Disco music from the decades and the bar will be open.
Tickets are available from the Parish Office from Monday 26th April—price £5.00. Minimum age of 21 years.
Priest’s Training Fund
(Formerly Westminster Ecclesiastical Education Fund)
Thank you to those who donated to this fund which totalled £579.96, this has been divided between the Diocese and the Claretian Missionaries.
General Election Result
We congratulate our local MP John McDonnell who was re-elected for Hayes & Harlington and to all those who were elected.
In the Borough elections, we pray that, in the light of these uncertain times, all parties may work together for the benefit of all.

Knights of St Columba
1. The monthly Council meeting will be on Monday 10th May in the Upper Room.
2. Join the Knights on their annual pilgrimage to Aylesford on Sunday 13th June. Coach tickets are bookable at £11.00 each, available from Kate or Dan Collins on 020 8573 3694 or the Parish Office. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Summer Draw—a new Ford Ka
We do really need your help to reach our target of £20,000 for this year’s Summer Draw.
If you have not already taken tickets to sell to your friends, families and work colleagues then please take some today.
We ask you to return any sold tickets and monies to the Parish Office as soon as possible. Your help in this respect will be gratefully appreciated as the money raised will go to the Church Refurbishment Fund.
Items Wanted.
We are looking for donations of DVDs, CDs, Bottles, Cakes, Computer Games and good children’s Toys. Please bring them along to the Parish Office. As with previous years we are not looking for Bric-a-brac.
Help Needed
We are also looking for help on the day of the 12th from 8.00—10.00am for setting up and from 4.00—5.00pm for clearing away. If you would like to help run a stall or would like to lend a hand please give your details into the Parish Office.

Empty 2 litre plastic bottles with caps are required for the Community Day. Please leave any available in the Parish Office. |
