We, in the parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, are looking forward to an evening of song and celebration in aid of the notable cause of those suffering from leukaemia. A worthwhile endeavour, the Anthony Nolan Trust is an independent charity currently supporting 7000 children and adults awaiting a bone marrow transplant. With the continued support from individuals and local communities they can continue to recruit more donors to its bone marrow register.
The ?Sing for Life? initiative aims to support the good work already happening. It will take place on 24th March 2006 at 8.30pm in our Church here in Hayes and both our Choir and Folk Group will be taking part in the challenge to sing 50 hymns. Sponsorship is 50p per hymn (or any contribution you would like to make).
This is one imitative taking place. If you would like to know how you might be of assistance in supporting the Anthony Nolan Trust then please visit: www.anthonynolan.org.uk. |
