When we think of vocations, we usually think of priests and other religious people, but as Catechists we too have been called to serve a special vocation. For some it was a desire in our hearts to share the faith that we love. For others, the calling came in the form of an invitation (begging) for catechists in the faith formation programs at our parish. It is not important how we are called, but that we understand that this calling is from God.

The beginning of a new catechetical year brings both opportunities and options. Who in your past shared their faith with you? Are you willing to share your faith with our children? Our program depends on the volunteer efforts of many people. We will provide training, materials, and continuing support to best empower you in your ministry while taking into account your busy schedule. No particular skills are needed other than a love of your faith and of children.

 Come join us September 15^th at 10:00am in the Botwell Social Hall to rededicate yourself to your ministry, to set new goals for our programs and to establish your hopes for nurturing your own spiritual and personal development.
