Baptism Preparation
This resumes in October. Further information available on application. Two month?s notice required. We ask that those who seek to have their child baptised should be regular Mass goers.
Mission Belize
Many thanks to St Claret?s Club and their members for the raffle held on Saturday 15th September which raised ?135.00. Thanks also to those who helped and provided the raffle prizes.
Traidcraft & Fair Trade
Thank you for your support last weekend which realised ?160.00 in sales. The shop will be open before and after all Masses again this weekend.
We are now looking at how we might become a Fare Trade Parish. This will mean that at all meetings and gatherings of parishioners we would seek to use Fare Trade Tea, Coffee and Sugar, this was discussed at the Parish Council meeting. As a Parish we aim not only to preach about issues of justice but seek ways whereby that justice might be lived out in our everyday lives.
Friends of the Homeless
Thank you to those who have donated a total of ?130.00 over the last few weeks. Your generosity enables us to assist those in need. The group are looking for volunteers & drivers for the minibus on Friday evenings to help with distribution of tea, coffee, soups and sandwiches. Douay Martyrs Open Day Event

10th Hayes Scout Group
The Group are holding a Sponsored Walk to raise funds to cover the cost of the gas leak that occurred earlier this year. It will involve all sections e.g. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts (see notice board in the Parish Office for details). The Walk will take place on Sunday 7th October 2007 & we are expecting all sections to take part. Please be generous to any youngster seeking sponsorship.
