Over the past 2? years our Parish has been involved in the ?At your Word, Lord? Diocesan renewal programme.

On Saturday 18^th September we launched Season 5 of ?At Your Word, Lord? by asking all Mass goers and parishioners to commit themselves to prayer either:

- to pray before the Blessed Sacrament

- to attend one weekday Mass each week

- to offer one day of fasting and prayer

- to read and pray the scriptures for 15 minutes each day

- to pray the rosary

- to pray the ?At Your Word, Lord? prayer each day

or by any other imaginative ways they could think of to pray for the parish Renewal during Season 5.

 Season 5 runs from October to 16^th to 26^th November.  If you look at the posters and all the books you will see that the background colour is Gold.  The theme for the season is ?Building the Kingdom?.

The themes for each week are:

(1) Justice

(2) Caring

(3) Dignity

(4) Respect

(5) Peace

(6) Love

 At all Masses on 24^th/25^th September and 1^st/2^nd October we shall invite people to enrol to join small groups.  In the past we have had up to 11 groups, although this slipped to 9 over last season.  We hope to increase the number of groups so that this season is the best ever.

Group Leader Formation takes place on Sunday afternoon of  the 25^th September led by Ann and Anna.

On 3^rd, 6^th, 7^th and 9^th of October we are having a mission to launch the season.  Keep your eyes on this page for more information.  The Liturgy planning group are also meeting to plan for the Sunday Masses during the Season.

At the recent gathering of the Core Group Leaders will the Cardinal he urged us to think about Justice and Peace and pointed out this can only happen when we get to know and understand the needs of our neighbours.  So we should encourage everyone to join and share in small groups.
