More than 300 children aged 7-11 sang a variety of Traditional carols to a very supportive and appreciative audience. Instrumental selections, including violins, violas and flutes as well as the school and staff choirs presenting excellent items. It was a very enjoyable hour long performance, which was a credit to the staff, pupils, parents and families involved.?
?A collection for the Passage, (Homeless in London), was taken at the end of the performance and people generously gave to this very worth while organisation.?

?On a freezing cold night, hearts were warmed by the singing of Botwell House School in their annual Christmas Carol Concert. We sang a selection of carols and played various instruments to other carols. The staff sang a fantastic version of O? Little Town of Bethlehem and the night was enjoyed by all. At the end of the evening the whole church joined in singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas and everyone left the church with a smile on their face looking forward to Christmas.?

A wonderful night was had by all, who attended this fabulous concert given by the staff and pupils of Botwell House Roman Catholic Primary School.
The children and staff sang with all their hearts, to the gathered pleasure of all those who came. No one was disappointed as angelic voices resonated around the full church.
Our thanks to all those who took part, those that supported the service and our two reporters.
Have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. |
