Legion of Mary

Accommodation required by the Legion of Mary for 9 legionaries coming to our parish (7 ladies and 2 gentlemen) to engage in vital apostolic work within the parish from 26th July to the 2nd August.  If you can help please contact Fr Martin on 0208 8573 2065.                       Thank you

1. Next session for adults is on Monday 14th July.  We will join in the Holy hour in the Church. (see separate entry)

2.  First session for children (aged 7-13) TODAY 10.30?11.30am in the Claret Room. (via the Parish Office).

Certificate & ?Going Forth? Masses

To mark the new stage our young people have reached in their faith journey, we will present them with their certificates and ?Send them  Forth? with our prayers.  The last of these for the First Communion children will take place TODAY during the 10.00am Mass followed by a social gathering in the Main Hall afterwards.

Holy Hour for Vocations

The next Holy Hour will take place in the church on Monday 14th July commencing at 8.15pm (following the evening Mass),  Please join in prayer for this most vital need in the church today.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration takes place every Friday from 10.00am until 12 noon and continues after the 12,15 Mass until 3.00pm.   Do join us for silent prayer and meditation for your own intentions and for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Helen Keane RIP, her husband, Michael and her family would like to express their heartfelt and deepest gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us.  Thank you to all who called at our home, attended her removal funeral Mass and burial.  Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, had masses said for her, certificates of enrolment and expressions of sympathy and to all who donated monies to Myeloma UK and Mission Belize. 

Thank you to Fr Martin and Fr Fischer for their kind words and lovely requiem Mass and homily. 

We are enormously grateful to all who helped with flowers, catering and to all who helped in any way.  It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.

School Admissions

If you are applying for a school place and need a reference  Fr. Martin will be available the last week of July and 1st week of August.

Knights of St Columba

On Monday 14th July during the 7.30pm Mass two new members will be enrolled into the Knights. The monthly Council meeting will follow the Mass in the Upper Room.

Proofs are available to view and copies ordered from the Parish Office during the following times:- Monday?Friday: 10.00am-1.00pm & 2.00-4.00pm.  Monday-Thursday: 7.30-8.30pm. (Voluntary staff permitting).  Saturday (from 28th June): 11.30am?1.30pm.  All orders must be placed by 31st July.
