Fr Philip Blandford wishes to thank everybody for their kindness and consideration shown on his leaving the parish for his new ministry in Leyton. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Eucharistic Ministers

There will be a meeting for Eucharistic Ministers on Monday 22nd September at 8.00pm in the Claret Room.

Friends of the Homeless

Thank you to the kind parishioners for their recent donations of ?15.00 left in the office during the past week.

Hymn Books

New hymn books have been ordered for the parish as we only have just over 200 left. 

These new hymn books can be sponsored to commemorate a special event anniversary, birth, marriage, etc, with details being printed in the hymn book. 

Those names and intentions could then be remembered in prayer during our services.

If you would like  to be included in this, please complete an envelope with the details, available in the church, and leave it in the Parish Office.

Hillingdon Deanery Talks

On Thursday 25th September, Fr John Deehan will continue with a series of talks on St Paul the subject being ?Paul the Evangelist? and on 2nd October??Paul the Theologian?.

Both talks will start at 7.30pm and will be held at St Thomas More RC Church, 32 Field End Road , Eastcote.

Knights of St Columba

The Annual Provincial Presentation Evening with a Fish/Chicken & Chips Supper will be held on Saturday 15th November in the Main Hall. Music is by Dylan and tickets at ?7.50 will be available soon.  Watch this space for details!

Thanks from Cardinal Wiseman School

Cardinal Wiseman School recently wrote to thank us for supporting their Cuban initiative.  It aims to organise exchange visits whereby pupils from Cardinal Wiseman visit Cuba to experience their extraordinary education system and pupils from Cuba visit Cardinal Wiseman to experience our education system.  Most of the money donated to support this venture was raised by Cardinal Wiseman pupils who sold Mojitas during the summer Botwell Community Day.  We wish them every success in this worthwhile project.

Parish Groups

There will be a meeting for representatives of Parish Groups next Wednesday 24th September commencing at 8.00pm in the Upper Room.  We would like one representative to attend from each group - please ensure that your group is represented.

Church Sound System

As the Church sound system continues with its overhaul there will be no microphones in use in the Church Monday?Friday this week.
