As you may know Fr. Jim Fischer has been away from Hayes for the last few months. 

With great gladness and celebration, we welcomed him back on Thursday night (22nd December) with Mass followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. 

It was a very moving service with both Fr Paul Smyth (our Major Superior) and Fr Jim Fischer addressing the congregation.  Fr Jim acknowledged that it has been a very difficult and challenging time ? especially during the first weeks.  He concluded by thanking Claretians, Parishioners, Friends and Family for all the kindness, prayers and support that has been shown during this time. Fr. Jim also thanked the congregation for taking time out of their busy schedules, on the leadup to Christmas, to be with him for the "Welcome Home Mass".
