CAFOD Harvest Fast Day - Friday 3rd October 2008
CAFOD envelopes are available in church this weekend. Please share what you can and stand in solidarity with poor communities in the developing world. Don't forget to fill in the gift aid details if you are a taxpayer.
CAFOD passes on this message from 18-year-old Celina (pictured in the Fast Day poster and leaflet), who struggles to support her HIV-positive parents in drought-stricken Mozambique :
"We are so glad for the help that you give us. Please find it in your hearts to keep supporting us because we need as much help as we can get."
Read more about how you are helping Celina and others in the Fast Day leaflet. Example of what your donations can buy - ?25 could buy a comprehensive seed pack for two families in Mozambique .

Forms can be collected from the Parish Office. If you are uncertain whether you are registered or not, if you did not receive a Christmas card in 2007, then you are not registered.
