First Communion Application Packs

These are available for collection from the Parish Office, during office hours.  The Application form has to be returned to the Office before the 24th October.  The introductory Parents session will be in the week commencing 3rd November and the Children?s sessions start in the week commencing 10th November.

Your Choir needs you!

Auditions for voices will be held on Thursday 16th and 23rd October at 7.30pm for 1 Alto, 2 Tenors and 1 Bass singer.

Requirements are:

1.  Basic music reading.
2.  Thursday evening practice.
3.  Sunday 10.00am Mass.

Botwell Toddler Group

The Toddler Group meet in the Youth Centre (at the rear of the Church) every Thursday, 1.00?3.00pm.  For more information contact Nina on 07885972154.  All welcome.

Hymn Books

New hymn books will soon be available in the parish which can be sponsored to commemorate a special event anniversary, birth, marriage, etc, with details being printed in the hymn book. 

Those names and intentions could then be remembered in prayer during our services.

If you would like  to be included in this, please complete an envelope with the details, available in the church, and leave it in the Parish Office.

Legion of Mary

May and October are the months of the Holy Rosary. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary on the Wednesday's of October at 3.30pm (after school) in the Church.

We are inviting the children and their families to join us for 15 minutes on the 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th in praying the rosary in honour of our Lady.

Monday Services

As each Monday is now a designated day off for the Claretian Community, Masses in the Church on this day will be replaced by a service of Liturgy of the Word with Eucharist.

Finance Committee

There will be a meeting of the Parish Finance committee on Wednesday 8th October at 8.00 pm in the Claret Room.

An Introduction to Signalong at Pield Heath School

Signalong is a sign supported system based on British Sign Language.  Signalong was developed to empower children and adults with communication difficulties.

The retiring collection next weekend will be taken up by the SVP to help the needy of the Parish and beyond.

Fulcrum Challenge

To raise money for the Fulcrum Challenge (a leadership development programme being undertaken by two of our parishioners) there will be a sale of cakes after all masses next Sunday (not Saturday) from the main porch of the church.

Knights of St Columba

1.   The monthly committee meeting will be held on Monday 6th October at 8.00pm in the Claret Room.

2. The Annual Provincial Presentation Evening with a Fish/Chicken & Chips Supper will be held on Saturday 15th November in the Main Hall.
