Claretian Family Day ...

on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August. Please be at the Church by 9.45am latest as the coach will be leaving for Buckden at 10.00 am sharp and arriving back at Botwell between 6.30—7.00pm.

Arriving on Time for Mass

It is sometimes unavoidable that people arrive late for Mass, however, we would encourage parishioners to try to arrive five minutes before the start of Mass. This avoids unnecessary disruption and distraction.

Thank you for your consideration.

Mass for the Sick

The Mass and Anointing of the Sick will take place next Sunday 6th September at 3.00pm in the Main Social Hall, followed by the Tea Party.

Prayers of the Faithful

Prayers of the Faithful (Bidding Prayers) are generally intended for members of the parish and their immediate families, this includes prayers for the sick and RIP.  Please give this consideration when requesting prayers to be said.

Foundation Governors Needed

The Diocese of Westminster Education Service is currently recruiting foundation governors for 1st September 2009 to all Catholic Schools in Diocesan Trusteeship.

This is a vital ministry in the Church.  As a governor you will work as part of a team and will be provided with the necessary information and training to understand the role.

A key element of the role is to preserve and develop the Catholic character of the school in accordance with the school’s trust deed.

For further details email Maureen Roe at maureenroe@rcdow.org.uk
