Botwell House Catholic Primary School

Do you have a child who was

born between

1st September 2005

and 31st August 2006?

Application brochures / forms to apply for a school place are now available from the school office.  Please call 020 8573 2229 for further information. 

Completed forms must be received by the school child to attend no later than:

Noon on Friday 22nd January 2010.

You must apply for a place for your child even if:

they attend nursery,

you have an older child attending the school.

Please note that Priest references will be signed on 14th/15th January in the Parish Office.

Westminster Year Books

Copies of the 2010 Year books are available from the Parish Office at £4.00 per copy. 

Advent & Christmas

A selection of religious calendars, Christmas cards, gifts and cribs—all at reasonable prices are available from the repository in the Parish Office.

Christmas Trees

Volunteers needed to erect the Christmas trees in the Church on Wednesday 16th December at 8pm after the evening Mass.

Please leave your name in the Parish Office if you are able to help.

Penitential Service

The Advent Penitential Service will take place on Tuesday 22nd December at 7.30 pm.  There will be no evening Mass on this day. 

Mobile Phones

Old unwanted mobile phones can be recycled for charity. As we approach Christmas and if you receive a new phone or you have an old phone at home already, it can be left in an envelope in the Parish Office for recycling.             Thank you

Knights of St Columba

The monthly Council meeting will take place on Monday 14th December at 8.00pm in the Upper Room. 

Friends of the Homeless

The Friends of the Homeless would like to thank kind parishioners for their recent donations of £20 & £10.

Blood Donors

The next session in Botwell Social Hall will be on Friday 18th December 8.30am—5.30 pm.

Foundation Governors Needed

The Diocese of Westminster Education Service is currently recruiting foundation governors for all Catholic Schools in the Diocesan Trusteeship which includes Botwell Primary School .

This is a vital ministry in the Church.  As a governor you will work as part of a team and will be provided with the necessary information and training to understand the role.

A key element of the role is to preserve and develop the Catholic character of the school in accordance with the school’s trust deed.

Fairtrade Shop

More volunteers are required to help run the Fairtrade / Traidcraft Shop which is situated in the main porch of the Church. 

If interested, please leave your name in the Parish Office. Volunteers will need to undergo a CRB check.

Prayers of the Faithful

Prayers of the Faithful are generally intended for members of the parish and their immediate families, this includes prayers for the sick and RIP.  Please give this consideration when requesting prayers to be said.

Adoration of the Eucharist

Adoration takes place every Friday from 10.00am until 12 noon and continues after the 12.15 Mass until 3.00pm. 

Those who spend a regular weekly hour in the presence of Jesus claim that this time has changed their lives.
