Parish Office

The Parish Office will be closed from 4.00pm Thursday 24th December until Monday 4th January at 2.00pm.

Eucharistic Ministers

There will be a meeting for Eucharistic Ministers on Monday 21st December at 8.00pm in the Claret Room.

Christmas Collection

The offertory collections on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is for the support of the priests who have pastoral care of the Immaculate Heart of Mary - the Claretian Missionaries.

This is the main source of income and goes towards the education of students, the care of the sick and elderly and missionary work for the church.

 

Botwell House Catholic Primary School

Do you have a child who was

born between

1st September 2005

and 31st August 2006?

Application brochures / forms to apply for a school place are now available from the school office.  Please call 020 8573 2229 for further information. 

Completed forms must be received by the school child to attend no later than:

Noon on Friday 22nd January 2010.

You must apply for a place for your child even if:

they attend nursery,

you have an older child attending the school.

Please note that Priest references will be signed on 14th/15th January in the Parish Office. 

Friends of the Homeless

Thank you to the parish staff and all parishioners who have helped and donated to the Botwell Friends of the Homeless throughout 2009.  Thank you also to Botwell House School for their donations and Christmas cards for the Homeless.  A special thank you to the dedicated team who prepare the food and drink and travel to London every Friday evening to distribute to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. There will be no evening run to London on Friday 25th December.

Foundation Governors Needed

The Diocese of Westminster Education Service is currently recruiting foundation governors for all Catholic Schools in the Diocesan Trusteeship which includes Botwell Primary School .

This is a vital ministry in the Church.  As a governor you will work as part of a team and will be provided with the necessary information and training to understand the role.

A key element of the role is to preserve and develop the Catholic character of the school in accordance with the school’s trust deed.

Christmas Trees

Thank you for last weeks collection for the trees and flowers for the Church at Christmas which raised £500.00.  Thank you also to those who assisted in the putting up and decorating of the trees.

In Memoriam

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sheila Crossan whose Requiem Mass will be on Monday 21st December at 11.00 am. 

Christmas Sale

There will be a Christmas Sale of Fairtrade goods in the foyer of the Social Hall today Sunday 20th December, 9.00am—1.00pm. Many bargains—All welcome.
