Twenty-Seventh Sunday In Ordinary Time



Friends of the Homeless -
an appeal for Drivers
Is there anyone who would be willing, on an occasional basis, to drive the Minibus to London to take food to the Homeless?  We leave at 7.00pm each Friday returning about 9.30pm.  If you are able to help, please leave your name and details in the Parish Office.         Thank you.
MacMillan Coffee  Morning.
MacMillan Coffee morning with support from Botwell School and the community raised £1,000 and has been sent to cancer support. Thank you all very much.
Holy Hour for Vocations.
The next Holy Hour for Vocations will take place on Monday 9th October in the church at 7:30 pm. You are all welcome.
Legion of Mary
As October is the month of the Holy Rosary, the Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary on the Wednesday’s of October at 3.45pm (after school) in the Church.
We are inviting children and their families to join us for 15 minutes on the 11th and 18th to pray the Rosary in Honour of Our Lady.

The family of the late Roger Fegrado RIP would like to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised and attended Rogers’ Requiem Mass with a special thank you to the staff in Hillingdon Hospital for their care and understanding at this difficult time.
Masses have been offered for the intentions of all.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
Note for parents: Children’s Liturgy  of the Word is a practice of children leaving the Sunday assembly during the Liturgy of the Word, to gather elsewhere to celebrate a separate Liturgy to enable them to take a more conscious and active part in liturgical celebrations. Begins on Sunday 5th of November at the 12noon mass.
Corrie’s Jams
In readiness for the forthcoming Christmas bazaar, Corrie Jackson is requesting clean jam jars which she can use in the production of her range of homemade jams.  If you can help, please leave them in the Parish Office.  Thank you.
Parish Repository
A good selection of Rosaries, Prayer books and Baptism gifts and cards are available from the Repository in the Parish Office and at the front of the Church. 
Christmas Bazaar
The Parish Christmas Bazaar takes place on Saturday 18th November.  Draw tickets at 50p each are available from the Parish Office.

 1st Prize — £1000.00

2nd Prize— £500.00  

3rd Prize— £250.00

If you can sell raffle tickets, please pick up a bundle from the office. Prizes for the top two sellers!!

Please sell as many as you can.

If you would like to set up a new stall for the Bazaar please give your details in to the Parish Office marked for the attention of Jackie Morris, with your suggestion as soon as possible and we will get back to you to discuss your ideas!.

 Additionally any bottles or gifts that you would be happy to donate could be handed in over the next few weeks for our stalls. These would be very gratefully received and could go a long way to making our Bazaar better than ever!!
